Join a team

From open class
to opening night.

You don't need a dance degree, and you don't need to know anyone. Most of our members started exactly where you are now — here's exactly how it works, from your first Sunday to your first show.

The process

Four steps in.

01

Try a class

Come to an open class in your style, no membership or commitment required — just turn up and dance.

02

Register interest

Tell us which team(s) you'd like to audition for. You can audition for as many as you like.

// confirm real registration method
03

Audition

Learn a short combination, then perform it in small groups — relaxed, not a talent-show tryout.

// confirm audition format & dates
04

Get placed

Successful dancers join their team's twice-monthly rehearsals and start working toward the next show.

What we look for

Less about
perfect. More
about ready.

Auditions are about finding the right team for your current level, not catching people out. We're looking for dancers who are ready to commit, not just the strongest technician in the room.

  • Intermediate/advanced comfort in your chosen style
  • Ability to pick up choreography quickly
  • Reliable commitment to rehearsal dates
  • A good attitude in the room — we're a family first

FAQ

Before you apply.

Do I need to have danced professionally?+

No. Most of our members have completely different careers — accountants, engineers, physiotherapists, teachers, scientists and more. What matters is your level and your commitment, not your job title.

Can I audition for more than one team?+

Yes — there's no limit. Many members audition across multiple styles and end up training with more than one team.

What if I don't get placed?+

You're welcome to keep attending open classes and try again at the next audition round. We'll always be honest and constructive about where you're at.

How much does it cost?+

Membership runs £25–£45 a month depending on the team, covering twice-monthly rehearsals and two open classes a month in your style. Competitions and the end-of-year show may have separate costs.

What if I've never taken one of your classes before?+

Start with an open class first — it's the best way to get a feel for the standard and meet the team before auditioning.
